The first hole in one of the season on the Championship Course was made this past Wednesday night at approximately 7:30 p.m. by Mark Horan. Mark thought he made a good swing on the 11th hole here at Minnesota National. When he got to the green, he didn’t see his ball on the green, so he looked for it on the back side of the green, to the left of the green, the front of the green, then thought, do you suppose and looked in the hole and there it was. This was Mark’s first ever hole in one made with a six-iron from the blue tee measuring 179 yards.
